Lighting Cameramen

Lighting Cameramen can often be found under a range of different guises; the most frequent being the Director of Photography, followed by Cinematographer. Lighting Cameramen are often the overseer of the camera and lighting crews on a production and are often in charge of the technical and artistic sides of filming. The cameramen make informed decisions on the equipment, such as lenses and filters, and the angle of a shot. Most work closely with the director to ensured the desired outcome is reached.

The lighting cameraman often works very closely with other members of the crew, such as Camera Operators, Grips, Focus Pullers and of course the director of the production. his ensures that everyone is working to the same vision and allows for a smooth and successful production.
